JFClinic announced on May 15th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with MEDINNO. This agreement aims to secure JFClinic's designation as an advanced regenerative medicine institution in 2025. The collaboration is specifically for clinical research on medium-risk advanced regenerative medicine, utilizing human-derived stem cell cultures.

The agreement ceremony was MEDINNO attended by JFClinic Directors Kim sang-yup and Jeong Chan-woo, Face Fitness Image Clinic Trainer and Director Moon Hyeyoung, along with MEDINNO CEO Joo Kyeung Min, Head Director of R&D center Kim Chung kwon, Head Director of M-Plant Nam Hyun, and Director Kim Sung-woo.

MEDINNO is a clinical-stage biotech venture that isolates mesenchymal stem cells from human umbilical cord tissue. It develops new cell and gene therapy drugs through its proprietary, efficacy-enhancing, patented technology.

Currently, MEDINNO is developing several therapeutics through its GMP-certified facilities, which have received human cell management business approval. MEDINNO has confirmed the safety and efficacy of Histem, its leading new drug candidate, in domestic Phase 1 clinical trials for rare intractable diseases in newborns and premature infants. It is now preparing for multi-national Phase 2 clinical trials for these diseases, including in China and Japan.

For over 20 years, JFClinic has highlighted the importance of facial muscle rehabilitation. Through their book, 'In-sang Clinic,' they've consistently researched and promoted the significance of rehabilitative therapy for both body and facial muscles.

Through this agreement, JFClinic plans to jointly research sarcopenia – one of the most significant issues in an aging society – with MEDINNO, and develop various health, functional, and cosmetic products using fat and umbilical cord stem cells.
