TR Corporation Revolutionizes Diagnostics at 2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo

TR Corporation announced its participation in the 2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo, held from December 5th to 8th at Taipei Nangang, alongside its partner AhealthZ.

The Taiwan Healthcare Expo is an annual event where leading corporations gather to showcase cutting-edge medical technologies. It serves as a platform for strategic partnerships and technological exchange and also provides domestic companies with an opportunity to enhance their export competitiveness and expand into the global market.

TR Corporation has developed the AI-based pulmonary function testing system Spirokit for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Spirokit is an accessible AI-powered respiratory disease diagnostic device designed for ease of use. It underwent clinical trials at Chungnam National University Hospital and received approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in 2023.

Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are respiratory conditions with steadily increasing prevalence. However, many cases go undiagnosed due to the high cost of existing testing equipment and low awareness. TR Corporation has developed a domestically produced diagnostic device equipped with an AI-powered automated analysis system, offering fast, accurate, and predictive diagnostics.

TR Corporation has successfully supplied its devices to 230 locations, including Chungnam National University Hospital and Hanaro Medical Foundation. Following its partnership with AhealthZ, the company signed an exclusive distribution agreement with a local Vietnamese firm. It has been supplying the devices to health centers in Vietnam, achieving notable success in international markets.
