Recently, dermatology has seen a new approach to pigmentation treatment gaining attention, particularly the method combining micro needling (MTS, Microneedle Therapy System) with high-concentration brightening agents. This approach has been recognized as an effective solution for various skin concerns, such as hyperpigmentation, melasma, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
The technology delivers brightening agents deep into the skin through micro-needles, promoting a more even skin tone in a short period.
Experts shared insights on such cutting-edge treatments at the global dermatology conference, Korea Derma 2024, held from the 1st to the 3rd of this month.
Dr. Sabrina Shah-Desai, renowned in pigmentation disorders, presented “Pigmentation Treatment Utilizing Lorient Elements.”
Dr. Sabrina explained, “Lorient Elements are composed of ingredients with a molecular weight under 500 Daltons, allowing for easy absorption into the skin and providing visible improvements in skin tone within a short time. This formula penetrates the skin barrier and inhibits melanin production, maximizing the treatment effect for pigmentation issues.”
She also shared clinical study results of combining Lorient Elements with microneedling, reporting that patients showed significant skin tone improvements after four to six weeks of initial treatment.
Dr. Sabrina noted, “Lorient Elements yield excellent results across various skin types, reducing treatment time and enhancing patient satisfaction. Side effects were mild, with temporary redness that quickly subsided.”
Additionally, Dr. Sabrina has successfully treated pigmentation and improved skin tone around the eyes. With extensive clinical experience, she has been dedicated to researching diverse treatment methods that promote natural skin regeneration and aim for an even complexion.
