Health Checks and World Cultures in One Place: 2nd Seoul Together Harmony Festival Set for Oct. 9

In the heart of autumn, a health and culture festival will bring Koreans and foreign residents together, transcending national and cultural boundaries.

The 2nd Seoul Together Harmony Festival (Seoul Dahamkke Eoullim Hanmadang) will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Oulim Square, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).

Hosted by the Seoul Foreign Residents Center and organized by K-Health Media, the festival runs under the slogan "Diversity in Harmony, One Seoul," bringing Koreans and foreign residents together in one place to share health and cultural content. It is expected to offer a day to look after one's health, experience diverse cultures and build mutual understanding.

■ From K-Beauty to World Culture: a range of hands-on zones

This year's festival features a variety of hands-on spaces, including the K-Beauty Zone, K-Health Zone, K-Culture Zone and World Culture Zone. Visitors can enjoy beauty experiences and a photo booth in the K-Beauty Zone, while the K-Health Zone offers the National Fitness Test and basic health measurements, allowing participants to check their health status.

In the K-Culture Zone, visitors can experience traditional Korean culture firsthand, and the World Culture Zone introduces the cultures of many countries. The Information Zone provides general event information and daily-life counseling for foreign residents. Onstage performances featuring gayageum, K-pop, taekwondo and shuffle dance will add to the festive atmosphere.

■ Special gifts for the first 100 pre-registered participants

Those wishing to attend can pre-register through the QR code on the event poster. The first 100 pre-registered participants who attend the event will receive a special gift.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is sponsoring the event.
